What is structured cabling
A structured cabling electrical work involves the cabling through which voice and data transmission is achieved within a building. More specifically, it deals with the way the transmission media will be installed, which are necessary to connect network devices in buildings of all kinds. Through structured cabling we are able to achieve voice, image and data transmission, but also to install temperature and ventilation systems, fire protection and security systems.
Where does structured cabling apply
Structured cabling has a huge range of applications due to its multiple uses. Thus, it is applied in industrial and commercial facilities, buildings, photovoltaic parks, hospital units, but also in houses.
What does structured cabling involve
The electrical work of structured cabling has many applications and thus involves several stages.
● For Internet and Ethernet networks, cable installation, RG45 plug installation, cable termination, and cabling measurement and certification are performed.
● For call centers, the work includes laying cables, but also measuring and certifying the cabling.
● For rack mounting, structured cabling includes patch panel interconnection and is fully functional.
For each of the above applications, an electromechanical design is carried out that will define the correct interconnection of the wiring. In addition, we supply the equipment, install the cabling and do the interconnection.
